2 Supplements I Always Bring With Me When Traveling (in case of accidental exposure to toxic mold)

Having to deal with toxic mold exposure while traveling is not fun! But unfortunately very common. The negative health effects due to toxic mold exposure are still not widely known and mold is often seen as “only” an aesthetic issue, not a health hazard which it truly is.

Hotel rooms and AirBnBs may look “perfect” when in fact many of them are harboring toxic mold behind freshly painted walls and ceilings. As the saying goes, out of sight out of mind. But that is not true! The problem is still there, although masked, it is creating the same negative health issues for people spending time in those rooms. So in order to be prepared when I travel, there are two supplements I always pack and bring with me in case of unexpected exposure to toxic mold.

1. Argentyn 23 Nasal Spray (Natural Immunogenics)

Argentyn 23 nasal spray is a bio-active silver hydrosol which contains only two ingredients, 99.999% pure silver and pharmaceutical-grade purified water. This silver hydrosol is nano particle silver which means the particle size is small; which is important in order for the silver to not accumulate in the body and lead to silver toxicity. Argentyn 23 is non-drowsy, contains no dyes, is drug-free, and alcohol-free.

Because of silver’s antifungal properties, Argentyn 23 nasal spray can be incredibly helpful in supporting the sinuses and body from the negative health effects of toxic mold and mycotoxins (mold toxins).

In addition, to it’s antifungal potential, silver has antibacterial, antiviral, immune supporting, wound healing, and biofilm disrupting properties.

I use 1-2 sprays each nostril 1-3 times per day as needed when I know I have been exposed to toxic mold and mycotoxins. It helps clear any nasal congestion and sinus pressure due to mold exposure.

2. ZeoBind (BioPure)

ZeoBind is a powdered zeolite that attracts and binds to toxins including certain mycotoxins (mold toxins) so they can then be excreted from the body via stool.

I take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (or more depending on extent of exposure) 1-3 times per day when exposed to mold. Typically I take ZeoBind about 30 minutes before or 1 hour after food or other supplements. ZeoBind needs to be taken away from medications.

For some people ZeoBind can be constipating and they may need to take additional supplements in order to support the body in having daily bowel movements. This is in addition to making sure the foundations are in place, ie they are drinking enough water and eating a healthy diet.
